I have become so fancied with white wine lately that I've decided to find another brand to try and this one definately ticked my taste buds :)

 

 

I make really good chocolate chip cookies and apparently, everyone else at work agreed.  It was pot-luck at work on Monday and within 3 hours, my batch of 60 cookies were almost all gone.  Kudos to the chef, ME!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all you Canadian bloggers there.  To those of you in the states or else where, Canada's Thanksgiving is the first monday of October, I believe.  I unfortunately had to work on the Sunday and Monday but was able to have at least the Saturday off.  It was a great dinner prepared by my fiance...he is an awesome cook :)  I unfortunately didn't take any pictures of the turkey....probably cause I was too busy having 1 too many glasses of wine and chatting it up with my cousin's wife lol!  But here is what I took of so far.  Hope you all enjoy :)

Even though my greatful fiance did all of the cooking, I at least made the desert which was chocolate pie with whipped cream topping and sprinkled with oreo cookie crumbs.  It turned out delicioius :)

I was beginning to get on edge as I have been craving for McDonald's coffee for a long while now and I usually have coffee once a week.  Thankfully my brother was nice enough to buy me a coffee to stir up my afternoon. 

So I totally didn't take any pics of the Thanksgiving feast, but this was the closest pic I came to LOL!  My cousin's wife brought over this wine which was quite good!

Apparently, this costed my other brother $400...25 year old whiskey.  Not a fan of whiskey as it was too strong for my liking but none-the-less, I took a couple of swigs ;)

 

I am not an alcoholic, I swear!  I just thought I'd let loose and just have more than I usually drink as I knew in the back of my head I had to go back to work the next day.  Why not drink away your issues at least, right?  Right ;)

 

 

I didn't wake up with that bad of a hangover but the headache was still there.  Thank goodness my mom was there to make me some good fried noodles.  Nothing like greasy food to get rid of those nasty hangover symptoms :)  Yum!

Delicious and Sweet Weekend



The nice thing about going to a popular sports bar is the awesome  nachos.  Wegz sure knows how to serve up a more than decent  supreme nacho dish :)

 

And to finish off the weekend before I head home, Hello Panda and Pocky sticks. Yum!

My 2 Most favourite Foodies

I've had this box of chocolate truffles since last Christmas or mid-April.  I still can't believe it's still there waiting to be finished.  It was a great night snacking on that with a glass of my favourite white wine :)

On the morning of Monday, September 3rd I woke up to a pleasantly nice suprise.  I was tagged in my bf's picture on Facebook that he had posted up just after midnight right after I went to bed.  And what do I see to my suprise?....

Yep, LOL!!  Some of you may ask, "Why would he propose to you online on Facebook?" right?  Well, it was our 6 year anniversay this past Monday and we met each online.  So he thought it would be cute if he'd propose to me online :P  What can I say?  Some people may find that crazy, weird and/or cheesy but I just plain ol' love it!!

 

Here it is, folks!!  Check out the size of that rock ;)

So Far So Good :)

Testing, testing lol.  I know the camera on this new phone is excellent at taking pictures outside.  Inside it's ok depending on the lighting.  It works best with natural lighting, of course.

Indoor pictures impressed me very well.  The flash on this phone is amazing.  WAY better compared to my previous phone :)

My New Toy!!

I finally got a new phone today and soo happy about it!!  My previous phone kept shutting off and restarting on it's own...pretty well driving me nuts!!  The only thing I will miss about my Nokia N8 is the 12 mega pixel camera on it.  Hopefully my new Samsung Note will be just as fun to use.

It Was a Sad Evening to Me :(

After a long 9 and a half hour shift,  I poured myself a glass of wine and came to see that the large bottle was emptied :(  Jackson Triggs,  you are my best friend and have always been there for me.  I will miss you.....until my next pay day!!

Mooseman 2012

My 4th time at this year’s Mooseman Event. If you’re not sure what Mooseman is, it’s basically the Canadian version of Burning Man in Nevada. Because it was held in Minden, Ontario this year, there was a fire ban and we weren’t able to burn the 7 or 8 foot moose but we still had great fun the last night at this event!

Nice to see a friendly canine companion at camp :)

Since we couldn't burn down the 8 foot moose, we thought it'd be at least a nice effect to put on a shining red aluminating light on it.

Despite the rain that night, the DJ still spun great tunes for us throughout the night.

It's a shame there were people at camp who were relying on the friendly elves to magically appear for them.

I wonder what would happen if we did.....

Fenelon Falls

Pictures taken from a small town named Fenelon Falls.  It was my second trip there and looking forward to more!

It was so nice waking up to this picturesque scene, right in their backyard!

My first time seeing this lift boat lift which is called the Kirkland liftlocks.  Canada's second liftlock built between 1900 and 1907.  Amazing structure.
